Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor / Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with Store Management in Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations and Human Resources to drive results.

As a Supervisor, you will train, coach and develop associates, supervise front-end operations, and help recruit and onboard new staff while upholding safety and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations through company programs and partnerships.
