The Kroger Co. in Burton, MI is seeking a Front-end Lead to deliver an outstanding customer experience and maintain a safe, clean environment.

You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals, supervise front-end activities, and help implement best practices and budgets. You'll engage with customers, answer product questions, monitor cash control and scheduling, and collaborate with store management to ensure smooth front-end operations while upholding Kroger's values of respect,

Formación

• Must have retail or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and math skills are essential.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Monitor and control department supply expenses.
• Manage cash control, sales, and cash records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist in budgeting, P&L reviews, and action on financial reports.
• Collaborate with Front-end team and promote teamwork.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.

Conocimientos

Ability to handle stressful situations

Knowledge of basic math

Retail or Customer Service experience

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent
