Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Store Manager-level professional to lead front-end and store office operations, ensuring high customer engagement and smooth cashier processes. You will train and supervise partners, maintain compliance with AML, lottery, and Western Union, and oversee staffing, safety, and store presentation.

The role requires anAssociates Degree in a related field, 2+ years of related experience, and certifications including HIPAA, AML, and tobacco/alcohol where

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience required.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain applicable Tobacco/Alcohol certification and AML certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; plan, assign and direct work.
• Ensure training of partners within supervised departments.
• Provide friendly customer service and address inquiries and complaints.
• Oversee compliance of front end procedures and monetary transactions.
• Train staff on policies related to customer service, cash handling and scanners.
• Monitor money orders, checks and deposits; report variances to Store Director.
• Maintain tender policies and safe store environment.
• Open/close the store and ensure adequate staffing and safety.
