Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) seeks a Front End & Store Office Manager to lead front-end operations and office staff, ensuring high customer satisfaction and adherence to AML, lottery, and Western Union rules. You will hire, train, and coach partners, schedule shifts, and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.

Responsibilities include staff development, evaluating performance, and ensuring accurate cash handling and bank deposits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.
• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE) through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role where applicable.
• Must obtain Manager Food Safety certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; directing work and appraising performance.
• Provide friendly, customer service-oriented attitude and handle customer complaints.
• Ensure training of front end staff on policies and procedures.
• Protect and monitor store sales and ensure compliance measures.
• Review money orders and check cashing for governmental money regulations.
• Oversee daily office audits and bank deposit records for accuracy.
