Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking a Front End/Store Office Manager to lead front-end operations and staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies. The role oversees AML, lottery, and Western Union transactions, staffing, safety, and expedient checkout services to create a positive shopping experience.

You will train and develop partners, enforce standards, monitor payments and deposits, and stay current on applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE certification within 2 weeks where applicable.
• Manager Food Safety certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• AML certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; assign work; evaluate performance; address complaints.
• Train partners within supervised departments on policies and procedures.
• Provide friendly, customer-service oriented interaction with customers and staff.
• Ensure accuracy of front-end procedures and compliance measures.
• Train front-end staff on policies, cash handling, and use of scanners; conduct evaluations.
• Review money orders and check cashing; maintain daily office audits and bank deposits.
