Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks an experienced front end and store office operations lead to promote outstanding customer engagement. You will oversee staffing, training, and daily front end procedures, ensuring compliance with AML, lottery, and Western Union rules and delivering a smooth checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of store checkout policies and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of store office processes and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of state laws regarding sale of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery, as applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of anti-money laundering and other government regulations relating to monetary transactions.
• Advanced knowledge of cash register operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans and directs work; evaluates performance and administers discipline.
• Ensures effective training of partners within departments supervised.
• Delivers friendly, customer-service oriented interactions with customers and responds to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintains accuracy of front-end procedures and ensures compliance measures are followed.
• Trains front-end staff on policies related to customer service, cash handling and tender procedures.
• Monitors performance and provides feedback through evaluations and testing.
