Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Cashier/Front End Team Member to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, and help customers leave with a positive impression. You may also serve as sales associate or merchandiser based on store needs.

You will report to store management and join a team focused on exceptional customer experiences. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with training on wine, spirits, and beer to deepen product knowledge; adherence to laws around alcohol

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
