Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Front End Team Member (Cashier/Sales Associate) for a part-time or full-time role in a wine, beer and spirits retailer. You will process transactions, greet customers, promote loyalty programs, and provide friendly service while maintaining store cleanliness and compliance with alcohol sale laws.

The role offers flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and a benefits package for eligible employees. Prior retail or customer-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and a team-player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure compliance with laws governing alcohol sales.
