Job summary

Total Wine & More in Alamogordo, NM is hiring for a Cashier/Front End Team Member. You will process transactions, assist customers with questions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

This role may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser as needed, reporting to the store management team. The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of retail experience, a passion for excellent service, and comfort with POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers and provide a personalized service to build relationships.
• Promote loyalty program and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, ads, and loyalty programs.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements for alcohol sales.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned.
