Job summary

Jimbo in Escondido, CA is seeking a Front End Supervisor to lead the Front End team, oversee cashier operations, ensure accurate checkout, and deliver high-quality customer service. You will coach staff, enforce policies, and support daily cash handling and reporting to keep store performance strong.

The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with management to develop the department.

Qualifications

• Prior successful cashier experience with understanding of front-end operations.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cashier and customer service duties as well as supervisory duties.
• Assist customers and ensure Front End staff follow service standards.
• Own Front End operations in manager's absence.
• Enforce store policies, minimise overtime, and document performance feedback.
• Assist Front End Manager in department development and succession training.
• Supervise Front End staff and address performance issues.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and till closeout.
• Run daily and weekly reports.
• Follow policy when approving checks and selling beer and wine.
• Know store layout to refer customers to correct aisle.
• Attend Front End department meetings and store meetings.
• Adhere to Front End policies and Injury & Illness Prevention Plan.
