• Strong communication, leadership, team building and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to operate cash registers and point-of-sale equipment; familiarity with store policies and procedures.
• Understanding of front-end policies, safety, loss prevention, and dress/grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Champions customer service programs to meet or exceed goals; resolves complaints positively.
• Supervises front-end operations, monitors customer traffic, checkout lanes, cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Balances cash handling procedures, records sales, and assists with reconciliation and deposits.
• Answers calls and responds to intercom messages, ensuring timely communication.
• Maintains accountability for cash flow, safe transactions, tills, refunds, and checkout issues.
• Ensures safety, loss prevention, and adherence to standards for all front-end staff.
• May act as backup checker and promote suggestive selling; helps prevent shrink.
