Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member for Safeway in Tucson, AZ. You will be at the checkout, scanning items, processing payments, bagging groceries, and helping customers with questions to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on state).
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.

• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions at checkout, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers as needed.
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
• Answer questions and help customers complete purchases accurately.
• Assist with cart retrieval, restocking, and general front-end upkeep.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures; adapt to changing flow.
