Job summary

CVS Health Corporation, including Omnicare, is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support the closed-door pharmacy workflow. You will enter orders, assist the pharmacist, and help maintain accurate patient records in a team-focused environment.

Required: Pharmacy technician license/certification and 1+ year experience; high school diploma or GED. Prior long-term care experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• PTCB National Certification (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED verifiable

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx’s and ensuring timely handling
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with allergy information, drug interactions, and flagged items
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
