Job summary

CVS Health Omnicare is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support the closed‑door pharmacy and help ensure accurate dispensing alongside the pharmacist. This full‑time role prioritizes customer service and records accuracy in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience in long-term care industry preferred.
• PTCB national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with the team in the medication dispensing process.
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in providing the pharmacist with information on allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
