Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will support the medication dispensing process in a closed-door pharmacy and work closely with the pharmacist to ensure accuracy and quality of service for long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities include entering orders, triaging requests, and maintaining patient records to ensure safe, efficient care. Requires valid pharmacy technician certification and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, and other flags.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
