CVS Health Omnicare is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support a closed‑door pharmacy in a long‑term care setting. You will enter orders, verify details with the pharmacist, and help deliver accurate, compassionate patient care on a 24‑hour operation.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality in daily tasks. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, a state‑level license or certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician per state law.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• PTCB National Certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Triages customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Calculates and verifies correct dosages from prescriptions.
• Assists pharmacist with narcotics tracking and timely filing.
• Provides pharmacist with allergy, interactions, and duplication alerts.
• Creates and maintains accurate customer records.
