Job summary

Omnicare is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join a focused, 24-hour closed-door facility team. You will assist in order entry, support the pharmacist, and ensure accurate patient records while delivering strong customer service in a community setting.

The role requires a licensed pharmacy technician and 1+ year of experience. Prior long-term care experience and PTCB certification are a plus; high school diploma or GED is expected. Competitive benefits and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Preferred: long-term care experience.
• Preferred: PTCB National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with allergy, drug interaction and duplication information flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
