Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our closed‑door pharmacy team. You will enter orders, support the dispensing process, and work closely with the pharmacist to ensure accuracy and outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience, state certification/licensure, and high school completion or equivalent. The role offers a 40‑hour work week with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx’s and ensuring they are back in a timely manner.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with allergies, drug interactions, duplications and other flagged items.
