Job summary

Omnicare is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join its closed-door pharmacy team. You will perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing, while triaging requests and maintaining customer records. This role emphasizes service quality in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
• PTCB national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Enter orders and assist the pharmacist to ensure accuracy.
• Provide information on allergies and drug interactions flagged by the system.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
• Assist in reviewing narcotics and ensuring timely processing.
