Job summary

CVS Health through Omnicare is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician in Tampa. You will perform order entry tasks in a closed-door pharmacy, collaborating with the pharmacist to ensure accuracy and deliver strong customer service.

The role requires a certified/licensed pharmacy technician (state law) and at least 1 year of experience. Anticipated 40-hour work week with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits. Training provided within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotics Rx to ensure timely processing
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications and other flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
