Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Supervisor to support store operations and drive financial and sales goals. You will lead service center, self-checkout and Food Lion To-Go initiatives, hire and develop associates, and ensure customer service excellence.

You will coach teams, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and policies while maintaining a high standard of store presentation and customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment solving problems and resolving grievances.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go, if applicable.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise performance and conduct timely appraisals for direct reports.
• Provide leadership and motivation to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and proper operation of front-end areas and equipment.
• Adhere to company guidelines and maintain security standards.
