Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead front-end operations and coach team members for a high-quality customer shopping experience. You will coordinate checkout flow, ensure front-end standards, and assign tasks to cashiers, service desk, and courtesy team members to meet productivity goals.

You will train and mentor staff, serve as a trainer for market programs, and act as the subject matter expert for company pilots.

• Ability to remain organized and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with peer leadership for smooth handoffs between shifts.
• Perform survival walk of the department and shift-to-shift handoffs when leaders are unavailable.
• Coordinate and drive actions affecting shrink and financial outcomes; escalate concerns as needed.
• Champion participation in community programs and mentor team members.
• Serve as a certified trainer for team members within their span of care.
