Job summary

Lowes Foods in Cary, NC is seeking a Front End Supervisor to oversee checkout operations and ensure the fastest, most pleasant guest experience by enforcing Guest Service Standards and Policies.

You will supervise front end staff, manage guest traffic, and coordinate scheduling with the Store Manager to meet labor guidelines, while training cashiers and hosts and maintaining a clean, efficient front end.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Guest Service Standards
• Ensures front end standards are met at all times.
• Manages guest traffic flow and monitors productivity.
• Coordinates with Store Manager to staff appropriate service levels.
• Trains cashiers and calls for additional hosts as needed.
• Handles guest requests, refunds, overrides, and check approvals promptly.
• Keeps front end clean and parking lot orderly.
• Serves as a positive role model for front end hosts.
• Blocks unused check lanes when not in use.
• Monitors and enforces front end policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• Provides training and direction to hosts not meeting standards.
• Communicates problem areas to the guest service manager and hosts.
• Provides on-the-job feedback to maintain service levels.
• Processes guest orders and performs cashier duties when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
