Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store leader at TJ Maxx in South Portland, ME to oversee front-of-store teams and deliver exceptional customer service. You will train associates, promote loyalty programs, and manage POS coverage while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year in retail with at least 6 months in a leadership role, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Ability to train and mentor associates on front-end principles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and oversee front-of-store associates.
• Lead by example and ensure prompt, courteous service and loyalty program promotion.
• Train and coach associates on personalizing the customer experience and loyalty programs.
• Assign registers, coordinate breaks, and manage POS coverage.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and store procedures.
