Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
1 Year Retail experience as a cashier and ability to obtain sales licensure if required.

Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and programs.
Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
Responds to customer questions by guiding them to product areas and walking through projects.
Communicates stock, special orders, features, warranties to customers.
Coaches and trains associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
Processes sales, returns, and refunds at the register per guidelines.
Ensures proper cash handling and change accuracy during transactions.
Inspects returned merchandise for damages and handles loading tickets.
Looks up product information and prices to verify price matches.
Maintains store signage and housekeeping standards for safety and organization.
