Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking an associate to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with locating and selecting merchandise, and manage POS transactions. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer or common retail technology.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times and follows Lowe’s customer service policies.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds to customer and employee questions and guides through store projects as needed.
• Communicates stock, feature benefits, applications, and warranty information to customers.
• Coaches and trains associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds using the cash register.
