Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Winterville, NC is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team.

In this role you will supervise store operations, coach associates, and work closely with management to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will manage front-end functions, promote safety, and participate in scheduling, training, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big box retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Solve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shrink.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
