Job summary

ShopRite of Brookside Plaza in Enfield, CT is seeking a Front End Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Front End Department, driving sales, customer experience, and associate engagement under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, physical stamina, and leadership to train and develop associates, maintain safety standards, and ensure accurate pricing and presentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to engage and lead Associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Front End Department to meet goals.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Train and develop Front End Associates.
• Promote customer service and charitable promotions.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and shelf presentation.
• Monitor staffing to meet sales and Customer Experience needs.
• Comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
