Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the checkout area and Combo Clerks to ensure smooth Front End operations.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and resolve concerns with supervisor assistance as needed.
• Manage cashiers at shift start and end, process transactions, and handle various payment methods.
• Provide override and register error assistance to Combo Clerks and assist with returns as needed.
• Ensure compliance with California alcohol regulations, including checking IDs and selling within hours.
• Oversee self-checkout stations, ensure accuracy in scanning and payments, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and store policies to relay accurate information to customers.
• Report unsafe conditions or suspicious activity to maintain a safe department environment.
• Perform duties of a Combo Clerk or other tasks as assigned.
