Ocean State Job Lot's Price Rite Pawtucket location is seeking a Front End Lead Clerk for a full-time role in the Operations department.

The position reports to the Front End Manager and oversees cash management, payroll, training, and front-end service to ensure a high standard of customer experience.

Candidates should be able to stand, bend and lift, and work flexible day/evening/weekend shifts; English reading and writing is required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Able to follow directions and work independently.
• Able to stand, bend, reach and stoop during shift.
• Flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekends.
• Satisfactory cash handling record (few errors).

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash office controls and tills and deposits.
• Organize front-end work stations and cash office area.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Coordinate front-end scheduling and disciplinary actions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain store security.
• Support store events and community programs.
