Job summary

Price Rite is seeking a Front End Manager to oversee cash handling, front-end service, bookkeeping and payroll, with cross-training across departments. This role supports community and store events and drives excellent customer service.

The position requires an Associate Degree (or equivalent) with five years’ related experience, strong computer skills, and a background in store operations and scheduling. Located in Pawtucket, RI, this role offers a path to advancement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent with 5 years of related experience; computer skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret general business reports, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present information to groups.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in math or diagram form.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing for several hours, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Moderate noise level; other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of store systems and internal applications.
• Ensure proper maintenance of job-related equipment and proper usage.
• Review and correct transaction journals and cash handling reports.
• Meet department productivity and payroll targets.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and train department personnel.
• Supervise, coach and develop front-end staff.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate issues to store management and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and QA standards.
• Assist with budget and financial goal attainment.
