Price Rite of PROVIDENCE is looking for a Front End Lead Clerk for a full-time role in Providence, RI. You will oversee front-end operations, cash handling, payroll, and staff training, reporting to the Front End Manager and coordinating store events.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Understand and follow direction given.
• Perform the job while standing; able to bend, reach and stoop.
• Work a flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekends.
• Possess a satisfactory cash record (less than 2 errors in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts, tills reconciliation, deposits, and reports.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Provide backup for Front End Manager coverage and schedule writing.
• Communicate to all levels of management and adhere to procedures.
