Job summary

Price Rite, part of Ocean State Job Lot, is seeking a Front End Lead Clerk for a full-time position. You will supervise front-end operations, manage cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll and recruit/train staff to ensure smooth daily service.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and stoop.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evening and weekend hours.
• Satisfactory cash record (fewer than 2 errors in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts and cashier tills.
• Prepare deposits and reconcile reports.
• Organize and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Provide backup for Front End Manager coverage (schedule writing, disciplinary actions).
• Provide exceptional customer service and adhere to procedures.
