Job summary

Price Rite of PROVIDENCE, part of the Ocean State Job Lot family, is seeking a Part-Time Front-End Lead Clerk to oversee front-end operations, cash handling and customer service at our Providence store.

You will be scheduled daytime, evening and weekends, and must read, write and speak English, maintain accurate cash records, and be willing to travel to other Price Rite stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Understand and follow direction given.
• Perform the job while standing; able to bend, reach and stoop.
• Work a flexible schedule consisting of daytime, evening and weekends.
• Possess a satisfactory cash record (less than 2 errors over last 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts and deposits.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end Work Stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
