FRONT END/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Provide day-to-day support for all Front End department operations, policies, processes, and procedures. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Requirements

1. Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands.
2. Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed, with an emphasis on Prime Time.
3. Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
4. Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads efficiently.
5. Effective written and oral communication skills.
6. Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc.
7. Understanding of key components of department operations such as managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense control.
8. Past work record must demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability.

• Ability to explore and develop more effective and efficient processes, policies, and procedures for Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting.
• Skill in designing a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Commitment to ensuring safe, effective, and efficient customer service throughout the department.
• Experience with improving tools such as Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, Cash Over/Short, CCG, ELMS utilization, Customer Comment Cards, FES Evaluations, Bob Audits, and Key Retailing Measurements.
• Ability to provide training, support, and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Proven ability to coach and train customer service managers and front-end supervisors.
• Ability and desire to promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports positively and respectfully.
• Support store management and customer service managers in maintaining a well-organized, clean, and pleasant shopping environment at check stands, front-end, Self Service Checkouts, Customer Service Center, Accounting Room, and parking lot area.
• Willingness to follow through on special assignments and perform any duties as assigned.
