Join to apply for the FRONT END/LEAD CLERK role at Kroger Mountain View Foods

Provide day-to-day support of all Front End department operations, policies, processes, and procedures. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes, policies, and procedures for Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective, and efficient customer service throughout the department.
• Improve various performance reports and metrics such as Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, etc.
• Provide training, support, and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service managers and front end supervisors.
• Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements positively and respectfully.
• Support store management in maintaining a well-organized, clean, and pleasant shopping environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned, including special projects.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as needed.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays, especially Prime Time.
• Experience in retail, with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multitask and handle large workloads.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to learn various computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.
• Understanding of key department operations such as managing people, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense control.
• High level of integrity and dependability in work record.

Desired

• Extensive experience in customer service and front-end operations.
