Job summary

BTS Software Solutions seeks a Front-End Software Developer skilled in modeling & simulation to join the I2WD at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You will design modern interfaces for configuring systems, visualizing data, and controlling simulations in HITL environments.

The role emphasizes translating complex engineering workflows into intuitive UIs, collaborating with engineers and systems teams, and delivering data-intensive dashboards in real-time, with emphasis on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, message-based interfaces, or other backend services.
• Experience developing data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, visualization tools, or engineering applications.
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work directly with engineers and technical users to translate complex system requirements into effective user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end interfaces for modeling, simulation, and HITL environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to translate complex workflows into intuitive UIs.
• Translate complex technical workflows into usable software with real-time data and simulation integration.
• Design and implement dashboards and visualization tools to support critical national security missions.
