Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Front-End Software Developer focused on Modeling & Simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You will develop modern interfaces to configure systems, visualize complex data, and interact with real hardware and simulated environments.

The role requires translating complex workflows into intuitive UIs, collaborating with engineers across disciplines, and leveraging web technologies to support real-time data and simulations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, message-based interfaces, or other backend services.
• Experience developing data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, visualization tools, or engineering applications.
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate complex system requirements into effective user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern software interfaces for modeling & simulation, HITL, and engineering environments.
• Build intuitive applications to configure systems, visualize data, control simulations, and interact with hardware.
• Collaborate with modeling & simulation engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers.
• Translate complex workflows into usable front-end software for real-time data and simulation environments.
