Job summary

BTS Software Solutions seeks a Front-End Software Developer focused on Modeling & Simulation and HITL at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You’ll craft modern UIs for engineers to configure simulations, visualize telemetry, and interact with hardware in real-time.

The role requires strong front-end skills (React/Angular/Vue), experience with data-heavy dashboards, and integration with REST/WebSocket services, plus collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience building production-quality front-end apps with React/Angular/Vue or similar.
• Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web app architecture.
• Experience integrating front-end apps with REST APIs, WebSockets, or backend services.
• Experience creating data-intensive dashboards/visualizations.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate complex system requirements into intuitive UIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern interfaces for modeling, simulation, HITL, and engineering environments.
• Build intuitive apps to configure systems, visualize data, control simulations, and interact with hardware.
• Collaborate with modeling/simulation engineers, embedded/hardware teams to translate workflows into usable software.
• Work with real-time data, simulation environments or HITL systems.
