Job summary

Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Front-End Software Developer -- Modeling & Simulation / HITL to develop modern interfaces for complex engineering environments. You will build intuitive apps to configure systems, visualize data, and interact with hardware-in-the-loop at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

The role requires strong front-end skills with React/Angular/Vue, TS/JS, and experience integrating with real-time data and APIs, plus a clearance to work on national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Production-quality front-end apps with modern JS/TS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web architecture.
• Experience integrating front-end apps with REST APIs, WebSockets, or backend services.
• Experience building data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, or visualization tools.
• Familiar with Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Able to translate complex system requirements into intuitive UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces for engineering, simulation, and test apps.
• Work with M&S, embedded, hardware, and systems engineers to translate workflows into software.
• Develop intuitive interfaces that visualize data and control simulations.
• Collaborate with technical users to refine requirements and improve usability.
