Job summary

CIS Secure is seeking a Front-End Software Developer for Modeling & Simulation / HITL at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will build intuitive interfaces for configuring systems, visualizing data, and controlling simulations in real-time with HITL integration.

Qualified candidates have strong JS/TS framework experience, robust front-end skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into usable UIs. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a top-tier salary range.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-ready front-end apps with modern JS/TS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web app architecture.
• Experience integrating front-end apps with REST APIs, WebSockets or backend services.
• Experience creating data-rich dashboards and visualizations.
• Familiarity with Git, automated tests, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into effective UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement UIs for engineering, simulation, and test apps.
• Collaborate with M&S, embedded, hardware, and systems engineers to translate workflows into UI.
• Develop front-end apps that integrate with real-time data, simulations, and HITL systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
