Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front-End Supervisor to ensure outstanding customer experiences in a Colorado store. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, supervise front-end operations, and enforce quality and safety standards across the department.

You will lead scheduling, budget execution, and adherence to company guidelines while fostering teamwork and a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and offer informed suggestions.
• Monitor and control department supply expenses.
• Manage cash control, sales records and cash items for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist with store/department budgeting and profit/loss reviews.
• Develop and execute labor schedules in partnership with store management.
• Contribute to department action plans to reach goals.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff and promote teamwork.
• Maintain a positive attitude and high standards.
• Stay updated on ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature controls.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Report accidents and safety risks promptly.
• Comply with laws and company guidelines.
• Ability to work in high-paced environments and manage conflicts calmly.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
