Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front-end associate in Colorado to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, supervise Front-end tasks, and support daily operations to ensure smooth store performance.

Responsibilities include aiding with budget preparation, scheduling, and adherence to safety standards, while engaging with customers and teammates to provide a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills for customer and team interactions.
• Knowledge of basic math for register and inventory tasks.
• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Assist with monitoring and control of department supply expenses.
• Assist with cash control, sales and cash records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate department coverage.
• Assist in budgeting, profit and loss reviews, and action on financial reports.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff and promote teamwork.
• Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to seasonal ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature controls.
• Report safety risks and incidents to management.
