Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months related experience or training or equivalent.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Sound judgement/decision making skills.
• Friendly, approachable/outgoing demeanor and team player.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with sincerity, patience and respect.
• Greet customers and assist with products, loading/unloading heavy items and retrieving items.
• Anticipate customer needs and respond to questions to strengthen loyalty.
• Oversee front end operations to meet sales, profit and labor goals.
• Determine work priorities to maintain front end conditions.
• Ensure accurate checkout and policy adherence.
• Train and coach associates on front end policies and procedures.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies and assist with price checks.
• Provide back-up coverage for the service operations manager.
• Know checkout transactions, voids, refunds, and daily reports.
