Food Lion in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining store standards. You’ll greet customers, operate checkout, assist with bagging, and support the Customer Service Manager in daily front-end tasks.

Ideal candidates are reliable, customer-focused and able to learn multiple cashier tasks, follow cash handling procedures, and work well with teammates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and cashier-related requirements.
• Ability to perform cashier/service center tasks with accuracy.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform job functions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide fast, accurate, friendly service to customers and greet by name when possible.
• Operate the cash register, scan items, and handle payments following procedures.
• Bag groceries correctly and assist with To-Go orders if applicable.
• Maintain clean front-end area and report any issues to supervision.
• Follow security and cash-handling procedures and engage with customers as needed.
• Assist with price checks, refunds, and special checkout processes as trained.
