Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and uses his or her name whenever possible.
• Scan customers' order and handle the payment transaction, per standard practice.
• Bag items properly and load groceries for customers as needed.
• Follow procedures for refunds, exchanges and cash handling.
• Maintain a neat front-end area and ensure proper restocking at check lanes.
• Assist with Food Lion To-Go orders and customer pickup when applicable.
• Adhere to dress code and wear the Food Lion uniform with nametag.
