Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system, and handle tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons and loyalty offers.
• Understand and adhere to the company's limits on cash shortages/overages and help control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
