Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Customer Service Associate at our Syracuse, UT location. You will assist customers, process sales at the service desk, and ensure accurate cashier transactions while maintaining a clean and organized checkstand area.

You will handle refunds and exchanges, process payments, and provide various services such as gift cards and bill payments. This role requires reliability in a fast-paced retail setting with strong teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk
• Must be 18+ (19+ in certain states for tobacco)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Fast-paced work environment experience
• Ability to work weekends and various shifts
• Organize and prioritize tasks
• Know company policies and procedures
• Retail experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the service desk
• Operate cashier functions and handle transactions
• Maintain checkstand area and cleanliness
• Answer phones and provide refunds, exchanges, and services
• Process money orders, gift cards, and bill payments
• Provide lottery services and licenses where permitted
• Trade/handle lost and found and other desk duties
• Support and cooperate in a high-paced environment
• Follow directions and resolve issues with integrity
