Job summary

Kroger in Woods Cross, UT is hiring for a cashier/checker to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, handle transactions at the checkout, and ensure accurate tendering and adherence to store policies.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, processing various forms of payment, assisting with promotions, and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere for customers of all ages and needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visible and actively greeting, engaging and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders including Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons.
