Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers in-aisle and at checkout.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the check lane.
• Operate POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit/Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling limits, reduce loss, and follow company policy.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies as needed and follow coupons and promotions procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; uphold food safety regulations.
• Support safety programs and identify unsafe conditions; notify management.
• Inspect equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Provide product information and create welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines; manage workload under pressure; resolve customer issues calmly.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
